Good therapy between Sessions at the Massage studio and Chiropractor.
By Troy Vogel on Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2019
I use it for my lats and my pecs and my leg muscles. You don't want the higher setting at first, get used to the lower setting first. Higher setting should not be used on any areas with thin layers of muscle. Read: hams, quads, glutes are the target for the higher setting. If you go across an area with less tissue the head will bounce off of your bones like another reviewer said, it's not pleasant but I didn't bruise from it. Some knowledge of human physiology helps. So maybe ask your massage therapist or chiropractor or trainer to walk you through how to use it? They will not be too happy though as the device does provide relief from soreness, muscle density issues and knots. It's not the same thing as working with a professional for an hour but it's a nice relief after a long workout. I am an amateur bodybuilder and I found this device useful. It is a little loud, it can also feel awkward and heavy with extended use. Battery life is good so far. I am happy with this purchase.

NOISY! Expensive, charge decays, rough on small parts and bruises if it hits bone
By handell on Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2019
NOISY! - sounds like a power tool! Expensive - I thought more expensive would be better tool, i was wrong charge decays- charge depletes after sitting for a few days rough on small parts and bruises if it hits bone - the 16mm motion is ok for broad thick muscles but is not ideal fro smaller areas and hurts if you hit a bone the wrong way, i felt bruising the next day buyers remorse - wou;ld have been happier with a knock off model or hypervolt I own a Homedics PA100 Massager bought when they was $70 at sears. They cost more now which leads me to believe that massage tools are overpriced in general. But this $70 and 15 years old tool does a better job than the new technology percussion guns.
