wopet W195 Dog Camera D100 (Open Box)

So I like the idea of having a camera with a microphone (both sending and receiving) AND a treat dispenser for me and my partner to use for our cat. The camera quality is decent and the price was okay at purchase. THAT BEING SAID. This piece of junk disconnects to the point we can’t use it. The app sometimes shuts down while trying to activate the mic feature, and when reopening the mic just doesn’t work. Sometimes the treats get sent out MULTIPLE times and that is not good for my cats diet. On top of that, this piece of crap app shuts down so much that it causes the device to disconnect. And as of 12:15 AM on 11/28/2024, I can’t even check in on my cat who is home alone while I’m 8 hours away for a family gathering because the device is suddenly OFFLINE. Thankfully I have a neighbor who will check in on him tomorrow but this device is more of a stressor rather than a tool for owners to use to check in on their pets while they’re away. What is the point of this when the usability is moot? Save yourself the money.
