Paperage Dotted Journal Bullet Notebook

These notebooks are pretty good considering the cost -- well constructed, average paper. No ink bleed-through that I can see. At about 60% of the cost of other equivalent notebooks. Paper is slightly more textured than others, but nothing bad. However, and this is a big one is that they have this weird chemical smell that I've never experienced before with other notebooks. It's very noticeable. Is that funky smell worth saving $6 bucks? That depends on you. I'll try leaving them open for a couple of days to let them air out. Hopefully that works, because otherwise, they are a good deal -- an affordable notebook with good paper. *Update*: Okay, I have aired out the books for a few days and the smell has mostly gone away. But I'm lowering my opinions about the paper. It's very thin and easy to see through and my fountain pen inks are feathering. These are inexpensive notebooks, but I'm wishing I had gone wit a different option. The Minimalism Art ones are great quality for an even lower price. A win-win in my book, and they don't smell like they kill brain cells.
