“Does not telescope“ but high quality

“Does not telescope” as stated below! Durable two-piece steel center pole pivots and telescopes for infinite position adjustments …” One pole is slightly smaller in diameter than the other. When you put them together they overlap by about 3”. You cannot slide the pole up or down any more than that. The connection point is not a “slip joint.” High quality with heavier fabric than most. I trust the SPF.
