Finally, this is just the cable I needed! I have a PC and work laptop that was going into a HDMI switch. I wanted to change everything from HDMI to display port, but my work laptop only has HDMI. After a fair amount of trial and error, this is the cable that worked for me! And it does work with my new display port switch as well, even though the description warns it will not. Very happy!
