Apple AirPods 2 - Standard Case (Open Box)

I’ve been using the Apple AirPods (2nd Generation) for a many years now. I've had 4 pair. (1 was lost and 2 were replaced due to faulty microphones.)I dislike the newer version with the easy-to-displace silicone tips. While the 2nd Gen offer great convenience and decent sound quality, they come with some very frustrating flaws. The seamless pairing with Apple devices is nice, and they’re comfortable for extended wear. The battery life has held up well, and the charging case is compact and easy to carry.However, the microphone durability is a major issue. After a few months of use, the microphones started failing, making calls difficult. I’ve had to take them to Apple multiple times for replacement under the 1-year warranty, which is great, but it’s still a hassle. For a premium product, I expected better longevity. Another big downside is the lack of a Bluetooth locator for the case—the AirPods themselves can be tracked, but if you misplace the case, you’re out of luck.The most annoying issue, though, is the automatic switching between devices. If I’m watching something on my laptop or TV via Bluetooth and an alarm or notification goes off on my iPhone or Apple Watch, the AirPods immediately switch to the alarm instead of staying connected to what I was originally listening to. It’s incredibly frustrating to constantly have to reconnect them manually. For the price, I expected more control over this feature. Overall, they’re decent, but these flaws make them far from perfect.
