Gemini Sound Foldable Adjustable A-Frame Stand

The good- This stand is inexpensive , it appears sturdy and is reasonably stable. The bad- Where it loses stars is the foam padding that the back of the guitar leans against. The foam is very thin and does not prevent the back of the guitar from making contact with the grooved hard plastic back of the stand. Worse than that, the adhesive used to apply the foam pad was liquified upon arrival and the pad slid off in my hand when I was setting up the stand- leaving a sticky mess on my hand . I do not trust that this substance is safe for contact with delicate finishes like the nitrocellulose on a vintage guitar. For this reason I would not feel comfortable using this stand for a nicer guitar.
