Transformative!

This product is incredible! I initially bought it in order to help hair regrowth on my temples and my eyebrows. I can’t speak to whether it has helped me regrow hair on my head (as I had been using minoxidil for a few months, which worked…the Mielle oil was more to maintain that growth, which it has done), but it had done wonders for my eyebrows…they have grown thicker than when I was using minoxidil alone (which wa somewhat effective in my brows, but not as effective as the Mielle oil). As a mask, this oil has transformed my hair! I has been curling my hair with a curling iron wayyyy too much recently, and the damage was beginning to show. I started using this as an overnight mask twice a week, massaging it into my scalp and along the strands, and then winding it all up in a top bun and slipping a plastic shower cap on overnight. I then wash it out after working out in the morning. Over the course of about 3 weeks, my hair just totally transformed, and started to look and feel super healthy again! It is super thick so it’s not something you would put on in the morning and then head out. But as a mask and a solution to grow your eyebrows, this is really effective!

I’m leaving a very neutral, honest review. I applied it to my scalp the first time last night after seeing amazing reviews but washed it out 15 minutes later after reading horrific reviews about the hair loss. I will say I had no hair loss in the shower, and no hair loss 16 ish hours later. I have psoriasis and I have no irritation-I think it maybe even helped it a little. Also, my hair overall feels AMAZING. After doing some research, I’m finding that this oil is extremely potent and should not be worn overnight, it should not be applied daily, or in large quantities. Also, it is designed for a particular texture of hair. I’m finding that it definitely should be washed out after maybe 20 mins and should only be applied once a week or so. However, this information is nowhere to be found on the product. It literally says “For daily use”, “Leave in, style as desired”. It also gives no warning about this product being designed for a specific hair texture. I’m so thankful that I found this information one way or another, but I had to from outside sources. You should be able to trust the information on the product. I’m going to continue using it but with a lot of time in between in hopes that it does help the hair I’ve lost.
