Well made, but too slippery feeling for me

I bought this and the Spigen "Tough Armor XP", because I wasn't sure which one I'd like. This one is for those that don't mind not having much protection, and want a case that feels very slim. It seems made well, but the biggest reason I'm going to return it is because it feels too slippery, and also because it's not much protection. The volume buttons seem cheaply made, but because they're thin, they provide great feedback. The lip protection is OK, but the Tough Armor version is better. The Tough Armor is a bit thicker which I don't like, but it provides more protection, and it's not as slippery on the sides and back. The Tough Armor buttons are slightly mushier than this one. I also bought the "Dragon Grips" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DD532WM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ...so I could use those on this case, but I think I'll return it and use the Rough Armor.
