Renewed Pixel 3 XL looks like new

I've had mixed luck with buying refurbished phones from Amazon, but so far this one seems good. It is fully functioning and cosmetically looks like new. This is the third Pixel 3XL I've owned. The first one I bought new, and it lasted about four years. The second was refurbished through Amazon, but the wi-fi and Bluetooth failed a few months after the eligible for return date. The key words I looked for with this one were "factory unlocked." Unfortunately, I bought a refurbished Pixel 6, which was "unlocked" by someone tampering with the bootloader, and as a result I can't use it with a Square POS device. That's why I bought this Pixel 3XL. This one works like a charm with Square, which is my main use for it, and I use the Pixel 6 as my regular phone. I bought my original Pixel 3XL in 2018, so it's an older model. The camera isn't quite as good as the one on my Pixel 6, and it only supports up to Android 12 and Google no longer provides updates, but if you don't need a top-of-the-line camera, this is a great phone.

Can't load certain apps.

My son ordered a used pixel 3xl. I liked it. I ordered one from the same place. His allowed hulu to be loaded. Mine says "app not compatible with device". It also won't allow Concora apps. I really like this phone (although charging port only works sometimes.) I'm debating whether to return it or not. *UPDATE* I returned the 1st phone. 2nd one arrived, seemed to work well enough except the battery needed to be charged 4-5 times a day. Today the phone crashed. Lost wifi, Bluetooth wouldn't connect. My son looked at it and found that it wouldn't update anymore, stating that it was too old. My son has the exact same phone. His works great, updates and all. I think Amazon need some new refurbishers. It's too late to return it. Buyer beware! UPDATE #2 Turns out this 2nd phone had been "jail broke". It's too late for a return. I'm out $130. I guess there are some things one should just buy new. DON'T TRUST AMAZON REFURBISHED!
