Oral-B Pro 5000 Smartseries Power Rechar

For a toothbrush, it does a great job. I love how clean it makes my teeth feel. If this review was based on the performance alone, it would be five stars. BUT… I feel it was misrepresented in the photos and description. You cannot see what mode you’re on at all. It does not light up as depicted. The directions that came with it don’t really explain the modes or what each does or which order they’re in when you press the button.The app is straight forward enough and it is amazingly simple to connect, but you have to have the app open while you brush or it doesn’t record your brushing. And despite pictures and other reviews, it does NOT map your brushing which kind of makes the app pointless for this particular brush (unless you want a record of when you’ve brushed and if you’ve used too much pressure…)I do like that the brush alerts me visually if I’m using too much pressure because I do tend to do that, so it has made me more aware of it. Maybe now I won’t have to replace the head every month like I used to…The handle is pretty light weight, too, and not as cumbersome as my old electric toothbrush.Overall, I’m glad I bought it for a cheaper price on prime day because it does NOT have the bells and whistles it is depicted as having.
