VITA Providence Round Lamp Post White (Open Box)

New lamp post for our new home, which is sorely in need of some curb appeal. Prior to installing, it was really dark pulling up to the driveway. I bought this post as like new and there was no damage to the post or its cap pieces upon opening; a minor scuff mark at best that you'd have to really look for. The vinyl sleeve does fit the 4x4x8 I purchased snugly, but thankfully did not require me to cut the wood post. (I add thankfully because this was a one-woman job and I only have a back saw). The adhesive was not dried out as noted by another reviewer, but it definitely took more than a "bead" around the inner edge to get it to actually adhere, and I mounted a solar lamp on top to avoid any electrical work. I can see the vinyl easily lasting for years; whether the ground-contact lumber I used holds up remains to be seen. Does it take more effort than installing an aluminum pole? Absolutely, but it's much better looking. (Pardon my light flare.)
