Excellent upgrade from a SIIG wired mini keyboard
By C. Hieber on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2022
Wanted to upgrade from a SIIG wired keyboard, and this was perfect. Be aware that it does not come with instructions - the USB receiver is stored inside the mouse.

I bought this one to get me by for a week and I opened it and set up super easy but it stunk so bad I had to put it in a bag and take it out of my office. Also the battery leaked everywhere

What I like about this keyboard and mouse set is that it works extremely well, and most importantly, it only uses a single dongle (unlike my last set). Set up was super easy - put the batteries in, plug in the dongle and away you go. The keyboard is quiet and has a soft keystroke, the mouse is quite light and fits my hand nicely. The mouse buttons are easy to use and the wheel is easy to get to. I also like that you can change the resolution of the mouse from 1000 to 1600 DPI. If you need a good basic wireless keyboard and mouse set, you can't go wrong with this one.

The SIIG Jk-WR0T12-S1 Standard Size 102Key Wireless Keyboard with 3Button Wireless Optical mouse is easy to install and use. The adjustable legs on the back are convenient and easy on the wrists. Note that the dongle is enclosed in the mouse cavity.
Nothing Wrong, Nothing Special

This keyboard and mouse set are the literal definition of "fine". They are nothing special, but they don't claim to be either. They are exactly what they say they are - nothing fancy, no frills - just a basic keyboard and mouse. They both work perfectly fine and satisfied what I needed them for.
Works well as a travelling mouse and keyboard

I've tried other simple keyboards before and been let down by the charge levels of keyboards. I like this one because it uses batteries rather than a cheap inboard battery. Both the key board and mouse don't take up much room, so I enjoy them when I have to travel with a laptop.
Wireless but not Syncing

It did not include instruction manual and neither keyboard or mouse would sync with Chromebook. Average workmanship and materials of the devices. The performance could not be evaluated for obvious reasons. It did come with batteries, so no additional purchase needed.

Nice quality keyboard, I like howbthe buttons feel. I wish there was an on off switch on the mouse and keyboard. Mouse is a little lower quality plastic

No capital indicator no on/ off switch to save batteries and it's poorly built.
An Inexpensive Keyboard/Mouse Set for Light-Duty Use

Pluses: - Full-size KB with number pad - 2-button mouse with scroll wheel - Mouse has a pushbutton to change its sensitivity (how far cursor moves on-screen for a given movement of the mouse) Minuses: - Very lightweight plastic construction. Has a cheap feel. - No on/off switches on keyboard or mouse. Admittedly, the mouse's laser turns itself off after a short period of inactivity and turns back on when the mouse is used. - No instructions Notes: USB adapter comes tucked inside the mouse's battery compartment. This is shown in a small picture on the box, but if you don't notice it, the tiny adapter is apt to fall out when you open the compartment to insert a battery. Plug and play setup worked... more or less. The keyboard worked as soon as I put the USB adapter into my laptop. The mouse did not work at first; it finally started working after 5-10 minutes when I poked around in the Windows Settings for mouse. (I didn't actually change any settings; the mouse just suddenly started working while I was looking around.) When I tried the set on a 2nd laptop, again the keyboard started working immediately. This time the mouse did not start working until I rebooted the laptop. After that, it is working fine. The set also worked well from the initial try on a PC running Linux. This is a useful set and a good value if you will be using it occasionally and/or you recognize that it is very lightweight and may not last a long time in heavy use. The fact that you cannot turn off either the keyboard or the mouse when not in use may take a toll on battery life. On the other hand, their battery draw when not active may be so low that it has little effect on battery life. I haven't had the set in use long enough yet to evaluate that.
