Perfect Blend of Style and Functionality

Coming from a household of both Google Assistant devices and Pixel phones, having another Google accessory device is a given. As both my girlfriend and I have Pixel phones with wireless charging, I felt it was time to invest in both normal wireless charging pads around the house and this Pixel Stand for our individual work spaces. First off, LOVE the design of the stand, looks very futuristic and simple at the same time. Easily fits into any given space and compliments it very well. One of the things that made me choose this over the Gen 2 version, it's very bland and too overpriced being the other major reason. It does it's job well as well, charges decently and no issues about just setting it on the charger and doing it's thing, which can be an issue with wireless chargers at times. That is, being quite finicky and particular about how it's set against your phone to charge or charge it properly. No issue with that here, the rubber lip at the bottom holds it in place securely and prevents you from setting in a misaligned position. Other than that, the other nice addition is that it turns your Pixel phone from a mobile Google Assistant into a more dedicated version of one, more akin to hybrid version of a Nest Hub and a Nest speaker. Obviously it favors more the latter. Admittedly, it's not a feature I use much, as I already have dedicated Nest speakers around the house for smart home integration, but it is nice to have, especially if you don't have those things. Really, for the price this particular version is going for, it's totally worth it. It's aesthetically pleasing, does it's job well and has nice added features and gimmicks to choose it if you have a Pixel phone. It certainly beats paying out $80+ for the Gen 2 and getting very little in terms of an upgrade. Mind you, if you don't own a Pixel phone, it serves no purpose than being a Google branded Pixel wireless charger. With that in mind, it's all about whether you want to just charge your phone or do that and have more accessibility functions added to your phone experience. If you're more the former, you COULD just skip this, but if you're the latter, it's DEFINITELY for you. Either way, I'd easily recommend it to other Pixel owners with phones equipped with wireless charging.

Doesn't Work Well with Google Device
By Clay Aiken on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2021
I have a Pixel 5 and got excited about the wireless charging so figured I would stay in the Google family and get a charger that is designed to work with Google stuff. Unfortunately it is too weak to power through the phone case, and figuring that means I have to take the case off each night I did that and it still wouldn't charge, or if it did, it would be trickle charging. I tried it with other power blocks thinking maybe the Google one was bad, and it won't even power on with other USB-C 18W AC adapter blocks unless it is the Google one. I tried the cable that came with my previous Pixel thinking maybe the cable was bad but still only works with the Google power block. Since it is so darned finicky and since it seems to be designed to keep your phone at JUST the right angle that any bump to the table will send it sliding off the slight rubber bump at the bottom and since I can't use it with any case, it is totally useless to me now. It is just another product I fell for because of brand loyalty. Extremely disappointed in the proprietary nature of the product as well as the lack of apparent quality. It seems they spent more money making the fancy box it came in then making the actual product. I have given up on wireless charging and will now be going back to old fashioned plug in the cable technology because: 1.) It works EVERY time 2.) It charges fast 3.) I can use any decent cable 4.)I can charge without having to remove the phone from its protective case It isn't all bad though; I now use it as a door stop to keep the door knob in my bedroom from marking the wall when I swing the door open too wide.

I bought this to use for my Pixel 7a and works fine. Comes with a power brick and charging cord too so great value for the price.
The cheapest original Google wireless charger I could find

I've been eyeing for one for quite some time to use it on my Google Pixel 7 pro coz the 2nd version is really expensive, it worked like a charm and it's easy! You just have to leave it there and it will start charging. One thing to take note is that not all cases support the use of wireless charger, make sure to check your case properly as I was using a simple silicone clear case and although it was thin but it had problem charging. I had to change to another (thicker) case but supports wireless charging and it worked fine.
Great fast charging stand for Pixel 8. Wrong adapter, but at least they included adapter converter.

Weird that it came with an adapter suited for use in another country. Some on here have said that it is a UK or EU adapter. When I opened it, I was like, what in the world is this thing? But then realized that the strange converter taped to the outside of the box was to allow me to plug it into a US wall socket. I don't have any problem with this two-piece arrangement, but I would have liked to know what I was buying. Feels a little disingenuous (thus I penalize them 1 star). As far as the charging goes, seems to work great. It can charge either fast or slow, depending on the settings on my Pixel 8 Pro, with which it is perfectly compatible. It also comes with a cable about 5 ft/1.5 m long. It was on sale for $20, so a great bargain. Also looks and feels awesome. It makes me want to charge my phone more often, but I don't need to because the battery last for days.
Great little gizmo at attractive price point

I love this charger. I use it for my pixel 9 pro in 2025 with a dbrand grip case which has magsafe magnets. Charges perfectly each time I throw the phone on it. 10W charging for in between charges or when I'm simply working from home, I can set the phone on it and let it do it's thing. This currently retails around $20. For people with negative reviews, show me another first party charger at that price point that won't run the risk of overheating your phone or ruining it as a third party charger could. Heck you could even throw away the stand and you're still in the plus with just the USB c cable and charging brick that comes with it. I've turned off all the useless (to me) features like picture slideshow, warming glow with morning alarm and what not that comes with this out of factory. I just need this thing to charge my phone reliably at 10W and this one does that plenty fine. Going to buy a second one as a spare for work desk.
Makes recharging my phone a snap. No cord to plug in!

Charges Pixel 3XL

This was a good price for the official Pixel charger. I love wireless charging and that this holds the phone in portrait or landscape mode. I love that it can display photo albums and be configured to silence all notifications when on the charger. It has sunrise alarm too. It's kind of pricey at full price, but this was a good deal. I have one at home and one at work. Battery life on the 3XL is not spectacular, so it's good to be able to throw it on the charger even for just a few minutes to make sure there's enough battery to get home. It does charge the phone fast.

I bought this for my 9 year old for his birthday because charging cords just vanish in this house... I then realized it won't work with his phone case, or mine! His has a metal ring and mine has a metal strip for the magnet phone holder in my car, and no metal should be on the phone when it's charging. We CAN charge our phones without a case, but that's proven to be a pain! The phone isn't safe without a case and even without the case, my phone never seems to be sitting on the charger perfectly. Odd, since I have a Pixel 6 Pro and this is a Google charging stand. It does charge faster than my charging cord (IF it's on correctly) but I also can't touch my phone for 3 hours while it charges. The biggest benefit has been sitting my phone on the charger and plugging my Google Pixel Watch 2 into my phone to charge them both at the same time. I just expected more from Google.
