warms up pretty quickly and doesn’t get too hot. The surface is really stiff and hard so recommend placing it under the bedding.Cools down when not being used and heats back up when under weight. Works to keep bedding warm and cozy!

Our dogs love these but they don't last long before they crack open. Beagles aren't heavy. Been replacing them every couple of years.
