Great value and quality with heavy duty cast iron and ribs. I have been using for over 5 years with excellent results from cooking fish, chicken and steak. The trick is having a thermal thermometer and checking temp and rotating pan when heating up. I sear my fish that is brushed with clear Olive Oil (No extra virgin as it will make food bitter) at about 400-500 for a couple of minutes and then turn and remove from heat and put lid on to finish cooking another 2-3 minutes depending on the thickness of fish. Trail and error will get you perfect results in no time. Forget about those other choices approaching or exceeding $100. Best value for your money ! Compare the dimensions to your favorite pan or griddle. This is small. Like one burger at a time small.
