Smawa Sleep Aid Device

This has been a tough product to figure out but after a few days of tinkering with it, I figured it out and I hope my review will be useful for many. HOW TO TURN THIS UNIT ON? What everyone seems to be having trouble with is first of all, how to get it to turn on? There is a sticker that says "on/off" and above it, a little light thing that will shine orange if the unit is turned on. I'm sure everyone's unit is in working order and will turn on if done right. First of all, have the on/off button area facing you. What you can do is slightly hold the unit up with one hand, and with your other hand, take 3 fingers, and do a gentle tap upwards. Make sure the tip of your fingers are practically touching the bottom orange part. I still can't figure out where exactly the sensor for the on/off is, but when you are using 3 fingers for some reason it just works. If it doesn't turn on, just keep tapping it a few times and you will most likely succeed. I made a video of this, I know it will help many. I'm sorry it is a dark, grainy video as I was trying to film this in a dimly lit area so people can see when the unit turns on. I also muted the video because I was tapping the unit and it is just a noise unnecessary for everyone’s eardrums! Now that we've got the on/off debacle out of the way... DOES THIS WORK? I've actually tried sleeping with this on for two nights, off for two nights. I'm was skeptical but I was surprised at the results. On the nights that this was on, I was able to be in a deep sleep, and had vivid dreams. I have an infant in the next room and since he was born I have been a light sleeper. Whenever I hear him cry in the middle of the night it jolts me awake and I run to check on him. With this unit on, it puts me in a deeper sleep and I found myself harder to wake up. I might have even slept through one of his cries. My husband is sleeping in the baby nursery so baby is safe but it was interesting how this machine seem to catapult me into a deeper sleep state. On the nights with this off, I slept ok, did not have vivid dreams, and stirred a lot more throughout the night. I don't know if this was just a coincidence and I just happen to be really tired on the two nights this machine was on but I don't think it is. I plan to give it a try again now that I finally figured out how to turn this machine on and off. OVERALL THOUGHTS: Overall I think this is an interesting product and the bad thing about these frequency type things is people can't see or hear it so that makes it hard to know if it is working or not. It just comes down to a feeling you get. The design of the machine is cool and modern but they need to improve the on/off button. They tried to design it in a modern and cool way but the on/off sensor doesn't seem to be too sensitive, and ends up defeating the purpose. I also have to mention the cardboard box packaging arrived all torn and broken, which shouldn't happen to a product at this price. The company really needs to give this product a complete redesign, from the packaging to the unit. People are willing to pay this high a price for the product but they don't want to receive a product that is dented and ripped. I would recommend them to study how high tech products (or a certain famous brand with a fruit logo) are packaged, which is especially important for a product like this. I would give this product an overall rating of 3.5 stars but if I overlook the ripped packaging and overall presentation of this product, they get 4 stars. I want to say "give this a try" but I won't because this isn't a $10 item that you can just play around with and discard if it doesn't work. People want confirmation that this works before they purchase. This is one of those "energy" type things so I think everyone will react differently to it. Some people are more sensitive to frequency and energy while some people aren't. So that said, I think you'll have to make a judgement call based off all the reviews on here.
