Silhouette Slate Grey CAMEO 3 Craft Bundle

I bought this when it was on sale. I had previously owned a Silhouette Portrait and before that a Cricut Expression, so I already knew how to work it. I’m not a big fan of the Silhouette Studio or the Cricut’s Design Space, so I’ve always used Sure Cuts a Lot to design my items. The bundle was great, although I wouldn’t say the vinyl was great quality. I let my daughter play around with it. It was nice to receive all the tools. The Silhouette itself is amazing. If you use the correct settings, and make sure you choose auto blade, every cut comes out perfect. It’s so nice being able to cut 12x24 again too (or longer!). I’d say if you’re on the fence about buying one, do it. Although maybe search prices first. I paid 1/3 less than what this is going for right now.

I have the original Silhouette Cameo and wasn’t sure if I would really be gaining anything by getting the Cameo 3. I love this machine! Having Bluetooth is wonderful. Now I have my computer across the room. No long cables or moving the computer. The auto blade is awesome. It cuts perfectly every time, even the tiniest of cuts. I love the dark gray color of the machine. I also love the dual carriage to be able to sketch and cut without touching the machine. I gave one to my daughter-in-law for Christmas and she loves hers, too. She had never used one before and has quickly learned how to use it. She is making all kinds of things with it. Mine did come with everything as advertised.

I love this thing! I cannot say enough great things about it. We bought this to save on buying shirts. Most people locally charge $20 per and I have a family of 5. The second people saw my work, they were making orders so I've already made nearly half of what this cost! The cameo 3 is definitely a great little thing to invest in!

So I am going to break this down into two sections, the Cameo 3 and the accessories. The pictures attached are things I have done for a few within the first two weeks of having it. The last two are using the included vinyl, the rest are nicer stuff I got locally. The Cameo 3 is pretty nice. Super easy to use and the grey looks great. I had it up and running really well in less than an hour. This includes signing into all the software, reading the basic setup steps, and doing my first few cuts. I've put quite a few hours on it since then. Two things I have found, it doesn't like super fine details (less than 1/8" or so) and it doesn't like really long cuts (7+ feet on mine). Both things I can live with for the price. The software is not bad. It seems it can be as basic or as power as you want. I haven't found the limits of the free version yet and have done some neat stuff. For the accessories. I was VERY bummed the tools where white and not black like shown. The hook is pretty poor anyway and I bought something different shortly after. The "squeegee" is stiff, but works. The vinyl that comes with it works as well, but isn't anything special. I got something higher quality and it cut much better. But, the transfer tape is AWFUL. I hated using it and got something new as soon as possible. I have not used the pens yet.

I love my silhouette cameo 3. I gave it a 3 on easy to learn because I had to pay for a class to learn how to use it. Now I'm a shirt making fool, lol. I can't wait to learn how to do everything it can do.

I absolutely love my machine and the bundle. I had issues locating my package but a neighbor was holding it and that was a mess but I have it and I am absolutely in love with the potential of this machine. Still have a lot to learn but it's great!

I had a Portrait for 4 years and decided to upgrade to Cameo 3. It works perfect. Two things I love the most so far are the autoblade and the bigger cutting mat. Still have to try all the other new features.

I love my Cameo!!! I have the original and Upgraded to this one and love it even more than the original!! The color is perfect.. has a little sparkle to it too which is a plus!!

i liked the price cheaper than some other online stores and it was a bundle deal so i couldn't rsist it lol well its definaetly a learning curve for sure it took me four hours and all most all the material it came with to get a dinky headstock sticker out of it, thats what iam using this for paint masks and headstock logos. over all i heard it ws eisiaer to use than the other machine on the market and iam inpresset wirth just wish the instructions were bettter explaining and showing u what to do and its a bugger to get the blade info right so it cut correctly by the way ....

Comes with no instructions, there is two software to download the actual software and firmware. This is not a easy machine to work with and it still does not work correctly for me and I have spent 6 hrs with it. And I work in IT.
