MicroLife Organic Fertilizer

I first found this organic fertilizer in my favorite nursery in Houston Texas and was absolutely amazed at the results. From roses to trees, everything responded incredibly well. When we moved to Florida I couldn’t find it anywhere. The company website shows it’s only distributed in Texas and Louisiana. I was happy to find it on Amazon and for about the same price I paid in the nursery. So more about the product… it’s completely organic 6-2-4 and I use it from spring to fall depending on the plant. Check out their website, it’s worth your time and they have a lot of NPK varieties and great gardening information. The product comes in a pellet form (like rabbit food) but breaks down easily. I have dogs and wildlife so I’ve found that I prefer to break it up into powder form and mix it in the soil so my dogs don’t bother it. Apparently, the natural ingredients smell really good to them. But, it’s safe if they do get into it. Roses love it, my Drifts & Teas stay in almost constant bloom. During the growing season, I usually feed them every 3-4 weeks, about a cup each for up to 2’ tall/wide & increase by 1/2 cup every 2’ thereafter. Judge the amount on the results you are getting and adjust the frequency based on temperature and the amount of watering you do. Remember it’s natural organic and not time release so it’s easy to adjust without fear of burning. Viburnums and other shrubs are strong, full and vibrant and put on a great bloom. Crepes and other ornamentals bloom like crazy. I often aerate around the drip line and fill the holes with it and find that earthworms are abundant around the plant areas. I propagate plants all season long and apply it to the tender starters and get strong, healthy plants. No burning or leaf deformation. Awesome! I like to shop the “near dead” section at the nurseries for reduced prices. As long as the root stock is ok, I can get them producing again in no time with this product. Whether you’re into organic gardening or not, this stuff really works, it’s safe for people and animals. Can’t say enough good things about it. Would be lost without it! Happy gardening!
