MAX-T Men's Electric Shaver

This Max-T electric shaver is absolutely amazing. It gets the job done perfectly and it's extremely durable. It's a solidly built unit that's made to last. The low price of this shaver combined with it's power, efficiently and durability definitely adds up to solid value. First of all, the shaver came fully charged, right out of the box. I put it on the charger anyway to guarantee a full charge for the initial performance test. I'm happy to report that this electric shaver performed beautifully with smooth, steady, consistent power. It operates much quieter than I expected which was a very pleasant surprise. I purchased the glossy black model which is sleek and trim. Combined with the low noise factor below 65 decibels (dB) this unit is a total class act, really nice. As for the actual shaving performance, this unit deliverers a close, smooth shave and quite frankly, it met my expectations and then some. The shaver's floating heads deliver an extremely high quality shaving experience with no nicks, cuts, razor burn or razor bumps. The end result is a stubble-free shave that rivals the performance of electric shavers costing several times the price of this totally amazing unit. The superb smoothness that these three heads deliver will delight those who body shave in addition to those consumers shopping for a reliable high performance facial shaver only. It does it all perfectly. All tests covering the overall shaving performance and actual shaving closeness were done without the use of any shaving cream, shaving gel or body moisturizer. The result was nothing short of awesome. Obviously this remarkable electric shaver will perform in an exemplary manner as well when shaving wet. This electric shaver also combines some nice software features that one would expect to see in a much more expensive unit. The LCD digital display provides the charging status as well as a reminder icon to clean out the hairs built up in the interior chamber beneath the heads. And speaking of the heads, cleaning is fast and easy. A tiny switch on top of the unit right below the heads pops the head assembly up, allowing fast and efficient cleaning with the included brush. Additionally, there's also a low power warning light that flashes red when the unit needs to be charged. The unit also features a sideburns trimmer which I didn't expect to find on a unit priced as competitively as this one. That's obviously a nice plus here. Also featured on this shaver is a lock that'll protect the unit from accidentally turning on by itself. Just holding the power button down for three seconds accomplishes this. This certainly comes in handy when traveling. The manufacturer also includes the charging cable and a cleaning brush as noted above. This is a two-sided brush with both narrow and wide brush options for cleaning. A velvet pouch is also included to conveniently protect the unit when traveling or for storage. The built in Lithium-ion battery at the heart of this unit is a real champ. It powers the unit with a flow of smooth, steady consistent power and it charges very quickly. When the shaver's in use the power consumption is slow and even, with a barely noticeable drop in the power supply seen several minutes into shaving. Fully charged, the unit will provide power for a full two hours. It seems the manufacturer has equipped this unit with top end performance standards. Personally, I've only used around 25% power after a typical body and facial shave. This shaver gets the job done quickly and efficiently. The grip is good on this shaver and it doesn't feel cheap. I did notice that due to where the on/off button is situated, it's easy to inadvertently turn off the power when shaving. Remember to keep your fingers off the power switch when shaving. I'm sure others have noticed this as well. This is a very minor complaint obviously and this observation doesn't affect the overall rating on the unit. The entire unit is waterproof for shaving in the shower and will actually survive a 30 minute submersion in water as stated by the manufacturer. I haven't used this shaver in the shower yet I'm sure the unit's water durability will live up to the standards and specifications as stated by the manufacturer. A plastic head protector completes the accessories included with the unit. This superb three head rotary shaver has honestly earned my very highest recommendation. It combines smooth, reliable power with the rugged durability that others have commented on and includes those nice software features. The low price of this three head electric shaver combined with it's efficiency, durability and software makes this unit a sure winner. I'm actually thinking of purchasing a second Max-T rotary shaver to have for backup or traveling. The manufacturer has hit a home run out of the park with this unit, a grand slam all the way. The shaving experience doesn't get much better than this. This particular electric shaver is a sure winner. Very highly recommended. ⭐ December 29th, 2024, Update.. After using this amazing electric shaver for just over four months, I can honestly reaffirm that this inexpensive, extremely durable unit operates like a first class champion. 🏆 I've added four additional photos to illustrate the illuminated symbols displayed when battery power is nearly exhausted. As mentioned in my original review, the battery that comes standard with the unit is a long lasting rugged power source which in fact took almost two hours to wear down to get the additional photographs. When battery power drops to 9% the red warning low battery power indicator light turns on indicating it's absolutely mandated that the battery be charged immediately. It should be noted that the shaver performs with plenty of power even at the very end of battery life prior to recharging. The additional photographs also display the tiny faucet icon used to indicate that it's time to clean the unit in addition to the battery icon. Incidentally, the low battery power indicator light is a brighter, more deeper red than is displayed in the additional photos. This inexpensive shaver continues to perform brilliantly four months after the initial tryout. As a matter of fact I accidentally dropped the shaver a few months ago on my bedroom carpeting with absolutely no damage to the unit. Now that really amazed me as I expected to see the shaver broken, requiring immediate replacement. The unit remained intact to my amazement with absolutely no damage sustained in the fall to the carpet. (I honestly don't recommend dropping this or any electric shaver on carpeting, or any surface, for that matter) 🤔 This inexpensively priced, smooth performing rugged electric shaver continues to amaze and once again earns my very highest recommendation. 👌
