THE BEST COMPRESSION SOCKS YET
By SHARDY on Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2025
Unfortunately I have to wear medical grade compression socks indefinitely to keep my venous ulcers from coming back. In the last 3 years, I've tried maybe 3 to 4 different brand medical grade compression socks, these by far the best for what I need and want. The fabric weave is dense enough so they actually look like regular athletic socks instead of dark colored sheer hosiery like the other brands I've used. These socks are the most comfortable as well. They fit my legs and feet just right. Snug and fitted. The cover my wide calves perfectly. I just WISH they offered all white socks with black stripes, red stripes, or blue stripes at the top, that would be something I would absolutely order and wear. I plan to buy these socks again and again. I would recommend these compression socks.

Only mild compression and stretch too thin
By Steph Doll on Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2025
I have used 20-30 mmhg medical grade compression socks daily for the past two years and am trying out other brands on Amazon because the Jobst socks are super tight on my toes, which makes them hurt, and they get holes on the toes due to that. I also wanted something more stylish looking. I have tried 5 different brands so far and this one is definitely my least favorite. The other 4 brands (SB Sox, Physix Gear, Thoxcare, Powerlix) all have fairly comparable compression to my medical grade Jobst socks. These Newzill socks however have much lighter compression than the other 4 brands I have tried and nowhere near the Jobst. The material stretches way too thin and makes the fabric look strange when they are on your legs. The fabric is also very loose around the ankle area, I can pull up a lot of material when I pinch it. On a compression sock you should not be able to pull up much, if any, fabric. I am 5' 6", 160 lbs., women's shoe size 10, 14" calves and the fit on the S/M was just right. On a compression sock the calf size is what will determine if you are getting the right compression, so that should always be your deciding factor when choosing your size. The socks came to just below my knee, which is perfect for a compression sock. The foot area fit great and was not tight on my toes. I could freely wiggle my toes without feeling trapped. These are a lighter material without any foot padding, and while they can be worn in the colder months, they are probably better suited for cool ,to warmer weather. If you want a heavier sock with more padding in the foot, the SB Sox are a more heavy weight, athletic style, sock. If you are just looking for mild compression, than these are fine, but if you are wanting something that is truly close to 20-30 mmhg, these are not it.
