Great purchase

My young teen loves icefishing & wanted his own stuff. I didn't want to spend a ton & I didn't want an auger that was going to break down or give us trouble. This auger was more than I wanted to spend for a teen just starting out, but let me tell you, the ease of use, it's maneuverability, worry free, mess free features are worth every last dime. Now if only a spare battery wasn't quite so costly..... the battery it comes with does last a very long time but when you're out with a few people & need 24+ holes it's nice to know you have a spare just in case. So far very pleased with this purchase.

This so called ice auger wont work if it is cold outside

I bought this ice auger to take ice fishing and when we got out on the ice it wouldn't run for more than a few seconds so we put it in front of the heater for about an hour and still wouldn't run luckly we had another auger so I returned it for another one ran it in the house just find took it out on the ice not so good it wont run either so brought back home let sit in the house over night ran good take it outside wont run so if you plan on using it for drilling ice where it is cold don't waste your money on this and it was only around -12 not like it was -30 or colder
