A bit dissapointed at first, but grew to love it

I bought this projector after having owned the Epson 2040 for a few years since I wanted a projector with better darks at a reasonable price. Upon plogging the projector in I was surprised by the picture quality, but was a little dissapointed that this projector only had a 1.1 zoom in comparison to my epsons 1.2 zoom. Although it is not that much of a difference in paper, it is notable in person. I would recommend choosing the image setting movie rec. 709 as it has the best looking picture in my opinion. Now, the things that bothered me the most for the first few days was the sound quality and turning on the fast input option ( for gaming). The sound quality on my Epson was much better in comparison, but much quieter. I did eventually got used to the sound ( which is pretty loud so that's a plus) because I'm not that picky with that anyway. It was just the initial difference ai noticed which bothered me. If you are picky with sound quality, get some speakers. The reason I dislike the 3x input option is because it resets your image, and if you don't have your projector at the right spot to make the image look perfectly alined, it's gonna look like a trapezoid. The image adjustment is manual and only vertical so make sure you your projector in the middle and not an angle. You might think, " hey just readjust the image". Well, if you do that it turns off fast input, so you have to have it at the perfect spot. This would have been anoying if the input lag was bad without it, but it's not. This projector is really responsive for gaming even without the setting turned on. Definitely faster than my Epson 2040. I play games like Apex legends and For honor. I know I've been sounding pretty negative so far, but in truth I love this projector. It has beautiful colors, sharpness and comes with a 3 year guarantee for the projector and 1 year for the lamp. It has 100% rec. 709 which you can get in other projectors like the BenQ 3050 that cost around 200 dollars more. It is pretty quiet on eco mode, but not in standard mode. So the overall pros are *Great picture quality *Great color accuracy (100% rec. 709) *Quiet eco mode *Low input lag for gaming even without the 3x option on *Fairly long guarantee (3 years for projector and 1 year for lamp) *Remote control lights up in the dark *Turns on and off fairly quick compared to what I used to Overall cons * Having to place your projector at the perfect spot to avoid trapezoid shape when using 3x input lag option * Sound could be better *You can hear it if you have it on standard mode near you I feel the pros greatly outweight the cons and I feel satisfied with the overall experience.
