i have a more pronounced waist line so this works VERY well for me. We haven't been able to figure out how to use this with my husband given hes a rectangle with little to no butt... lol. but this saves my back. my son has been around 20 pounds since he was 5 months old, i don't know how i could have functioned without this. It makes it so easy to carry him around. It is very quick to put on and take off, adjusts well. I no longer put off doing multiple errands because this makes it vey easy for me. Everywhere i go i get complimented on it and asked what its called. worth every penny. my husband was a little apprehensive given its close to $100 but it was worth it many times over. I love this thing. i really enjoy the buckle locking feature. i wasn't aware it was even there until one time i was trapped and confused haha. great safety feature given this thing is holding your baby for the most part.

I am guy and this is hard to wear. I did the whole high and tight but my daughter really only wants to sit in front either facing me or facing away. I’m this position the hip carrier definitely digs into your waist and pulls strongly on your lower back. Maybe I will get better at wearing it. When she does sit more to the side it Definitely feels better and the pressure is off your arms for sure. My daughter for reference is 6 months old and 16.25 Lbs. she fell asleep Today on it walking. It doesn’t solve all the issues and is not something you can wear for hours in my view.
