Comfortable, looks good, fits well

This is exactly what I was looking for - a lightweight sweater to layer over a t-shirt for indoor winter wear. I wanted something reasonably form-fitting -- I'm 5'10" with an athletic build and a large fits me great. A couple of notes on the product description: - No way is the model in the picture 6'2" and wearing a medium -- as I said I'm 5'10" and the large is perfect for me. - The description says "dry clean only" while the tag on the garment says "hand wash only / dry flat / do not dry clean". I machine washed it but dried it flat and it came out fine -- we'll see how long it holds up. - It's pretty warm for a lightweight sweater, but it is light weight, just as the product description says.

Great sweater until I washed it the first time

I loved this sweater. It fit and wore great. Merino wool is a great fabric. When I washed it the first time I carefully followed the instructions washing it in cold water in the gentle cycle and took it out to air dry as directed. Unfortunately it had two big holes after washing. The product description on Amazon says dry clean only but the care instruction on the sweater said cold wash on gentle cycle. I confirmed this online and with my drycleaner. I can't find any way to reach the seller and, unfortunately, it is past the return period.
