Goorin Bros. King Lion Trucker Hat

Firstly I absolutely love Goorin Bros hats & have been wearing them for around 20 years. My favorites are the "driving" golfer style hats, I find they fit exceptionally well, are very stylish, and last a long time. I haven't owned (a newer) Goorin baseball hat is several years so I was excited to get this Squirrel Nuts cap; the fit is very disappointing however, it sits way too high, with the top of the cap being 1 inch from the top of my head - it should fit just against my head, that's my experience with baseball hats since I was a kid. The only way I can get it to fit "snug" and where it should sit is to make the cap larger in the back, but then I'd have to have the sides of the cap over my ears! Needless to say that looks as ridiculous as it does in the "normal" fit sticking up an inch over my head. So I'm saddened, such a cool looking cap but it's just stashed in my closet. Clearly it fits many people just fine based on other reviews - but, I cannot wear it. I have an average sized head & never had this issue with hats before :(
