I’m really impressed with the quality packaging! 5 different layers of protection for this rod. This product is extremely well made. Designed with the two tip system it allows the angler to easily convert to a different species with minimal effort. The 7’ rod system allows for repacking and transport to almost anywhere. Love the grip, hook holder and action with the two tips. I will put it to use first thing tomorrow morning.

Rod bent in half on second use on small fish

I ordered this rod for my daughter. A 5'6" Light action 2 piece. Second time using it and the rod bent in half while fighting a small nothern pike last night. It didn't even break, it just bent right in half on the top section of the 2 piece rod. Pretty disappointing. The rod has been handled well, barely used. Stored in a rod locker in a rod sleeve so I feel strongly this is a manufacturer defect. It bent right where a guide was attached.
