I've had this installed for a couple of weeks now with no issues. I was concerned about the noise the magnetrons would make as we cooked, but it's really nothing. No worse than the electric eye cooktop I had before. I love the knobs instead of the screen controls, and that was the big selling factor for me. Boils water super quick, and I love that the temp adjustment is nearly instantaneous when I'm cooking. Be sure to check your pots and pans with a magnet beforehand to see which will work.

The cooktop worked pretty well for 10 months. Cooktop makes a pretty loud humming noise when it's being used but I think all induction cooktops are like that. At first, only two of the five burners broke. It took about a week to have Frigidaire send a local tech out. After the "repair", none of the burners worked. It took over a week for the local tech to get additional parts and to come back. The second "repair" didn't fix anything so now we are stuck waiting at least another week to see if even more replacement parts do the trick. EDIT - It has been seven weeks now and they have tried fixing the cooktop six different times. Please stay away from this company's products!
