THE BEST athletic shoes i've ever owned
By pblove on Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2020
I love reviews - love reading them to help me decide, but never have time to write to help others decided, however I HAD to make time to write this, because these are THE BEST athletic shoes i've ever owned. I've tried Nike, adidas boost, brooks ghost, other mizuno, etc. Let me start by saying i am not a runner. I wear my shoes for everyday use, not running or power walking. I have narrow, flat feet with bunions. It has been impossible to find an athletic shoe that has both arch support and comfort, but i found it in these. 1. stability is SUPERB. with flat feet and loose joints, i have a tendency to step on my foot wrong and roll my ankle. Not with these. At times i can feel my upper body get off center when walking around but these are SO STABLE, that they don't let the instability go down into my lower body -they correct me right away. Very secure around the ankle and heel with a very stable sole. 2. comfort. i have a standing desk that i work at and i can stand in these ALL day with no problems. They have cushion and a little bounce in the toe, and supportive cushion in the heel 3. arch support. i own brooks ghost, which is very stable and comfortable, but doesn't have the arch support, so by the end of the day, my feet don't feel great. these have the arch support and also have a bump built into the inside sole that sits right behind your foot pad (not sure if that's the right way to describe it), but it keeps pressure away from my bunions. i've always had problems that if i don't use a shoe with arch, then i can step on my foot in a wrong way where it will send shooting pains up into my bunion - NOT with these. 4. plenty of room in the toe box and love that they are knit mesh upper so my toes are not restricted. Only cons to these are they are a little clunky. Ladies if you've ever walked in a small heel, that's almost what the stride feels like. Not the discomfort of a heel, just the stride, where you're making a little extra effort to walk smoothly.....BUT i would buy a million pairs of these if i could afford to because they are that perfect and the slight clunkiness factor doesn't bother me. SIZE: normally in knit mesh upper shoes i buy an 8.5 (nike addidas). i purchased these in a 9 and had to send them back for a 9.5, which then fit perfectly. If you like a snug fit, order 1/2 size up, however if you don't, i highly recommend ordering a whole size up. OVERALL LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

WTH
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2020
I loved my sneaker until I wore it. The heel of the sneaker separated! WTH. I love the shoe, made my feet really feel good in prep for my 3 mile daily walk. But unfortunately the heel separated before I could put it to the test! Update: I received a new pair from Amazon within 48 hours of my review!! Finally put it to the test yesterday. I walked 3 miles (briskly) and feet felt great. The shoe will definitely be needed in the fall and winter months because of the knit fabric used. Overall I love the sneaker and plan on remaining with the Mizuno brand. FYI.. I have worn Brooks and Saucony which I rate as ok in comparison to Mizuno. Thank you Amazon for the prompt response!
