Since this is NSF 53 cerified, that means it can also remove PFAS from water too. Unfortunately the product description doesn’t mention that.

really a comment on Amazon’s suggestions

Amazon constantly suggests a product that is not the one that fits the part you need! I searched for a filter that was the right size for my refrigerator, and then Amazon recommends that I get this Amazon branded product at a lower cost. Well, it’s not the same fit as the product I was actually about to purchase! I had to return the product, and then, when I searched again for the correct product, Amazon again recommended this wrong sized alternative! Ridiculous. This is not the first time that Amazon has done this, so beware anytime you see Amazon recommending their product over another product, if the product is a specific size. Be sure to double check that they’re recommending the same size.
