A great way to carry my kayak

I used this system to transport my 9-foot, 39-pound kayak on top of my Toyota Corolla all last summer and fall and have started this summer now too. It works great! I can have the Stanely pads and kayak set up and ready to go in 15 minutes all by myself (a 57-year-old woman.) I love that it's simple, light, and really secure. One thing I did change though: the cam straps that come with it have a pad on them that made it hard to tighten enough. So I got a pair of regular cam straps to secure the Stanleys. Then I use a second pair to secure the kayak. I've been on highways at 60 miles an hour and have driven over an hour away without any shifting or trouble.

It's OK

It was easy to put on but the straps that it comes with are weak. I had tighten it and it came loose when driving at speed of 35 MPH. I had to pull over. My item almost fell off the car. The strap needs a better clamp.
