Secura 1800W Electric Deep Fryer

Product is very flimsy. Will never stand up to regular use. The temprature guage says it can go up to 370degrees but after an hour it never reached above 350degrees. I used an separate thermometer to keep accurate temp readings. Even at 350 once you add food into the oil it drops to around 330 and took a long time to reach back to 344 if you ait for it to go back to 350 food will most likley be burnt. I used refined peanut oil, and cooked three batches of frozen burritos. all three batches were over cooked on the outside ...yet under cooked on the inside. I will try thawed burritos to see if I get any better results. Pro's: It was easy to clean with removable oil reserve. Setup was easy and the strainer basket are spacious. Con's: Flimsy housing (Not good when your dealing with hot oil). Temp guage is very inaccurate. Never rached temps higher than 350 degrees
