This is THE jacket for cold weather!

I live in Northern New England and it's already been very cold and windy. I walk my dog at 7:00 AM and we've already had temperatures in the teens with winds of 25-30 mph. This jacket is the warmest winter wear ever. It is truly windproof, waterproof, and warm. Pockets are fantastic. It's also long and covers well without being a coat. Although it seems to be bulky when putting it on, once on the body, it's lightweight. It's easy to move in the jacket as well, especially picking up after my pup.I wish it had: a drawstring to cinch in the hood when it's really windy and a two-way front zipper. These are small items as the jacket is such high quality that it's worth every penny. Beautiful, too.

I got this coat after obsessing over it on TikTok. Finally got it and was ECSTATIC to find out the Medium fit me with extra room. Normally I need a large (5’0”, 155-160, 36D), esp over hoodies, but it was sold out. So glad I went with M.I love the expanding zippers and front snaps. It’d make the PERFECT maternity/postpartum coat! The color is pretty, but appears lighter in person. Wish it was a slightly darker olive green instead of a muted army color.As I wear it around the house more, I realize it’s probably too much coat for me. I’ve gained 25-30 lbs this year thanks to hormones, and I can’t decide if I want an oversized coat that’ll HIDE my weight, or a more tapered jacket that might give give me more shape.This one is so big it hides a lot, but it also adds a lot! I feel huge, which isn’t what I wanted. The neckline goes right up to my face chub and is unflattering. Sitting is tough with so much coat in my face. I also feel like it’s too casual! Sometimes a sleek black puffer looks great with anything, dressy or casual.I might return it and try an hi-low/asymmetrical hem coat they have.UPDATE: I returned it. I loved the fit but whenever I sat in the car, I had to unzip the sides. Wasn’t a huge fan of the white Sherpa in pictures…. Again, just too casual.
