Oregon Scientific CF8410 HEPA Air Purifier

I love this purifier! It is easily portable with a handle on back, it is very quiet, and has other features that make it an excellent deal for $70. I have one in my office and one in our front room and they both do an excellent job of removing odor, vapor clouds (I vape), and especially PET DANDER! We have several pets and the air was causing everyone to sneeze and cough constantly. The filter is extremely easy to replace, and only $30 for a new filter and that is a great price for a HEPA filter. You can see the junk pulled from the air on the pre-filter after only a few hours of use. The pre-filter can be removed, cleaned and replaced with the velcro strips on the filter. These pre-filters are only about 10 bucks for a pack of 4 so they can be replaced more often than the filter itself. This unit is nearly silent on low speed, and has a high CFM of airflow for the High setting. There is also an UV light that can further "purify" the air passing through the unit, and a timer as well if you want it to shut off after 2, 4, or 8 hours. The front is magnetically attached and pulls right off, although it firmly stays in place while in use or being moved. Overall a great unit and I may get another one for our upstairs level. Great for a medium to large sized room, but too small for whole-house air filtering with just one.
