The main issue is that they frequently go offline, which completely defeats the purpose of having a smart lock and connected system. **Connectivity Issues**: Despite having a strong Wi-Fi signal, both the Nest Connect and the Yale Lock struggle to stay connected. This has left me locked out of my home on several occasions and has made remote access and control virtually impossible. **Inconsistent Performance**: When the devices are online, they work well. However, this consistency is rare. The connection drops often, and I find myself constantly having to reset or troubleshoot the devices. **Customer Support**: Reaching out to customer support has not been very helpful. The standard troubleshooting steps don't resolve the core issue of the connectivity problems, and I've yet to receive a solution that actually works. **Firmware Updates**: While I appreciate that Nest and Google try to fix issues through firmware updates, these updates haven't resolved the offline problems.
