Anticipating venison
By JustPlainOldCliff on Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2021
I'm quite happy with my CenterPoint AXCM175CK. Amaxon Prime attempted delivered 3 days early, which was a nuisance for me but has no bearing on the quality of the product. Centerpoint packaged the crossbow securely and the instructions were clear and accurate. Tools for assembly were included with the exception of a Phillips screwdriver for the quiver. The 3 hex drive screws that secure the bow to the stock had blue stuff on them which I presumed to be thread lock compound. I added my own thread locker to all the other fasteners. Initial sighting was simplified b/c I had a laser sight to lay in the rails & eliminate 8 inches of inaccuracy @15 yards before firing the first bolt. Happily, the included bolts fly straight enough that I was confident in the windage of the included 4x32 scope after 4 shots. Sighting was performed between my deck & a target 30 yards away where game passes with great regularity. Shots 5-11 tuned my elevation from "minute of cantaloupe" to "minute of apple" to "minute of lemon". That's when I noticed the arrow retention spring was bent & stripped of its rubber. I must have damaged it with a cocking handle prior to the previous shot. (Note to self: Observe handle discipline while cocking.) Accuracy was still fine after I reformed the retention spring. If these bolts aren't misdirected by my Muzzy 100gr broadheads venison is imminent. BTW, the weight of the 3 original bolts was 18.1 grams, 18.1 grams and 18.5 grams. All three field points weighed 6.5 grams, 100 grains. 30SEP2021 Update: I ran some speed tests today. The 3 include bolts "downloaded" to the target at 361 fps avg for 6 shots. Slowest was 375. Fastest was 365. That average is 2.4% slower than spec which also recommends 400 grain total weight bolts. As noted in my original review, my bolts are light. Lighter bolts should have achieved higher speeds. Your mileage may vary. I'm only slightly disappointed and still have no doubt this tool will turn out some venison.

Dangerous piece of Garbage
By Boriquah on Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2020
Total piece of junk. I didn't have this for more than a month. It broke when we we were hunting. It was laying on the ground ready to shoot and it snapped. It seems like a manufacture defect. I contacted the company (Daisy), they promised to send the replacement parts, (It does have a warranty) they basically lied and left me with their garbage. I have contacted them at lease 5-6 times, they answered with a lick and a promise about twice, then nothing. This is a very dangerous item. DO NOT BUY as customer service is horrible. They have my money so the joke is on me. It doesn't deserve 1 star.
