Apple 9.7" iPad 5 (2017)(S&D) (Open Box)

I am writing this from a deployed location overseas, and my war face is twisted with rage right about now. This item was intended as a Christmas gift for my little girl, and after weeks of delays, she received the "refurbished" iPad that will not hold a charge despite being plugged in overnight and uses battery power faster than it can charge. Ergo, this thing is defective and does not fulfill the purpose for which it was intended. I am returning it immediately, and there is no telling how long that will take, and I seriously doubt I will see any of my money back on this debacle of a purchase. After going through multiple attempts to nail down the extremely long shipping time, now I have to deal with a return from 7,000 miles away from home, so yeah, I'm not a happy camper right now, and neither is my little girl. One thing is certain: from here on out I will never knowingly do business with this sorry excuse for a merchant again.
