Pro+ or Boost?
By Naga Speed on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2019
I have here a Anker Soundcore boost to compare it to the Soundcore Pro+. Both are very easy to pair to the device and both are very well built. However the Pro+ is a little heavier. As for the sound, both are nearly identical at low to medium volume. Once the volume is set to max, the Pro+ is a clear winner as expected of the 5 extra watt. The bass on the other hand, are pretty much the same. Both have tremendous bass coming out of a little speaker is insane. There are things the Pro+ can do that the Boost cannot and vice versa. Here are the things I like and don't like about the Pro+ and Boost. ........Pro+....... Pro: *Can switch device without having to reset the pairing mode *The material feels a lot more sturdier *Very easy to pair *Sound really good and clear at max volume *All the connectors (AUX, USB, ect..) are located in the back *Superb battery life *Insane bass Cons: *Cannot disable the bass (always on) *Heavy *Have to hold down the power button for a couple of seconds to shutoff ---Boost--- Pros: *Can enable/disable bass *Very easy to pair *Well made material but not as good as Pro+ *Superb battery life *Insane bass *Press power button to shutoff instead of holding it *Lightweight Cons: *Have to reset pairing mode to change device *Connectors located on the side *Sound not as good on max volume As you can see there isn't much of a difference between the Pro+ and Boost. Other the fact that the Pro+ is $10 more. My verdict is you will be happy with either one they are both amazing speaker!

Just get the Soundcore 2
By sniper68 on Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2019
This review is in comparison to the Anker Soundcore 2 that I was hoping to replace with this. Battery life: This was a very important aspect for me as I intend to use at while I work 12 - 16 hour shifts. This model starts to die at around 8 hours at 90% volume, which is pathetic compared to the lower end Soundcore 2, which can easily last 20 hours at the same volume. Wireless: Range is quite terrible. It skips somewhat frequently. Much more so after I move about 15 feet away. It drops connection completely after about 30 feet. The soundcore 2 still plays flawlessly even from the bathroom which is 200 feet away and behind a concrete wall. Sound Quality: This only get marginally louder than the other model and sounds slightly better. Useability: I like the fact that it has a battery indicater but find it pointless since it only comes on when you turn on the unit or when it gets down to one bar even though the other lights stay on (why?!). The small buttons are hard to press with gloves on compared to the other model. Form: It is quite a bit bulkier and heavier than the other model, which I wouldn't mind at all if it had more battery life (it actually has a lot less) Or if it was a lot louder but it feels like they just crammed a brick in it to make it feel heavier and more premium. Conclusion: This product is not at all worth the cost. The Soundcore 2 beats it in almost every aspect at half the price. I love Anker products, I buy their chargers, battery banks, and usb cables exclusively but this product is very disappointing.
