Spent months going back and forth between Thule, Saris, Kuat, and other hitch mounts, but never pulled the trigger because there always seemed to be some compromise...or a tremendous price tag. I saw this one and bought it right away. The weight and strength ratings are just where we wanted them, it folds back to allow a trunk to open, it folds more compactly when storing off of the car, and it easily held three bikes we were transporting. Just what we wanted.

spent extra on the "deluxe" locking model but anyone with an adjustable wrench can take the bottom bolt out in 30 seconds and steal the rack and your bikes. Don't waste your money on the locking one, just get regular rack.
