great bag, great company, great customer service

I purchased this backpack about 18 months ago -- and have found it to be terrific. It's large, has pockets and zippers in all of the right places, and the design allows the weight to be positioned on your back correctly. One of the best features of this bag are the side straps that let you compress the depth of the bag -- this prevents everything from settling on the bottom of the bag -- which ensures that weight is distributed across your back and shoulders when you carry it. The other feature that I really like are the elongated side pockets. I travel a lot (2 to 3 weeks each month) so I carry files and a laptop with me all the time through airports -- and the side pockets are the perfect size for the power supply and extra battery. It prevents me from having to dig around in the bag (the big compartment also has space for a USB battery so you can use the external USB port to charge a phone while you're using it -- but I don't like being corded when I walk). I recently contacted the company because an internal pocket seam was coming unraveled -- I wanted to get it fixed. Their customer support (via email) was great. They asked me to send a picture to make sure it wasn't something that I caused (it wasn't), and they sent me a new bag. I was pleasantly surprised -- I expected them to make this difficult -- but they were quite good. This is a great bag and a great company. I'd recommend them in a nano second in the future.

book bag L (17.5 INCHES) x W (11.5 INCHES) x H (8.5 INCHES) 17.3 inch screen diagonal laptop: L (14.5 INCHES) x (10 INCHES) x H (0.75 INCHES) lap top bag for 17.3 inch screen diagonal laptop: L (17 INCHES) x W (12 INCHES) x H (1 INCH) Microsoft surface pro: L (12 INCHES) x W (7.5 INCHES) x H (0.5 INCHES) laptop bag for Microsoft surface pro: L (14 INCHES) x W (10 INCHES) x H (1 INCH) Dimension: 19.5 x 15 x 10.5 (inches). This is what the website describes this book bag to be I am having trouble fitting my stuff into this really too small book bag. I am really angry because I actually did all my measurements before hand so I could fins a bookbag that was actually larger than my lap top bag so I would not struggle at all to put my stuff in my book bags. It is actually cheaper, like a lot cheaper to buy this small of a bookbag that was delivered to me today. This book bag is really way to small for me. I think amazon thinks it can rip me off since my stuff gets delivered to a group home. A have a doctorate in podiatric medicine. I got an A-/B+ average in that program. I got a B+ average in a MD medical school program. I can measure, do math, ect. Just because I might live in a group home setting does not mean I don't know when I am being ripped off and burned. This is the second time in a week I have been ripped off and gotten less than what I payed for. I bought a locked box for my medication (which I am required to have), and amazon sold me a lock box with a broken handle. Currently my group home is trying to teach me that I need to learn that I can't get my way. So this group home has constantly put me in situations where I can't get my way in order to provoke me into getting upset so they can write a good note on helping to manage my symptoms. I feel like there is some communication going on between Amazon and my group home. It does not surprise me that my group home is having amazon purposely send me stuff that is broken or not what I want in order to provoke me into getting upset so they can write a good note for the day about managing my symptoms of getting upset when I don't get my way by helping me to deal with situations that don't give me my way or go as planned. I really payed a lot for this book bog and for the locked box. I need to save for tests. I cannot afford to pay more for less or for broken items. I wouldn't be buying something if I didn't need it. I had thought about buying the items I have bought for awhile now. I spent hours looking for the right medicine bag, the right lock box, and the right book bag. I spent hours making sure my measurements for things were correct and that what I bought actually was bigger than the measurements for things I measured. My group home has constantly been using my diagnosis to abuse me. I often don't get the medication I need so my group home can put me in situations where I can't get my way to get a good note for the day and bill my insurance company for my diagnosis. Now, I am not getting what I pay for on amazon so my group home can bill the insurance company for my diagnosis. I am thinking of seriously canceling my membership. Walmart has shipped me exactly what I need and want every time. I get exactly what I pay for when I buy things from other places. I can get my toiletries and medications elsewhere as well. I don't want to be emotionally abused by my group home through amazon. I am not getting what I need. I got a locked box with a handle that is broken and that cannot be used this week. Now I have a torn old book bag that I need to start using again and that I needed to replace. I also have a book bag that is hard to fit my lap tops into. Thanks a lot for good customer service. Worse, I know my group home has probably told Amazon to refuse to post my reviews if they are not positive because my group home is trying to teach me that I cannot be angry, upset, in pain, or complain. Every time I complain of pain, my group home has my doctors cancel my appointments on me, has my pharmacy refuse to fill my pain medications, or uses the grey - rock technique on me. Then my group home wonders why I want to commit suicide so bad.
