Uniden DC720 Dual Camera 360° Dashcam

I bought this as an upgrade dash cam after I was involved in two incidents in 6 months. My old dash cam gave you a basic view out of the windshield, about 140 degrees. But it also documented audio, which became important not long after I bought it. Twice in six months this dash cam had bailed me out of trouble. Once I was accused of cursing out a child and using racial epithets. The audio of the encounter proved otherwise. Another time I was nearly in a front to back collision where the other driver hit a guardrail behind me. The other driver said I collided with him and pushed him into the guardrail. The audio captured the collision but the video didn't shake as it would have if my vehicle struck or was struck. Well worth the purchase price. Buy a larger SD card to accompany the camera. After these incidents I decided I needed another, 360 degree dash cam and I wanted the audio record feature. This dash cam does that. In reality the dash cam records front and back, about 140 degrees and stitches the two streams together digitally. You can convert the camera into a wifi hotspot (no internet connectivity) and connect to it with a phone using the Uniden 720 app. I've upgraded the SD card to a 64gb card, which gives you about 11 hours of record time. My vehicle's power point provides power even when the key is off, so I also get a security camera to boot. This does take a somewhat advanced level of technical knowledge to set up and use, but if you've got the chops, I highly recommend this camera.
