Hard to Beat

Unlike the issues described in the single (and, as of this date, only) Amazon review for this item, I've had no issues at all with this unit. Installation is quick and incredibly easy, despite us having to get creative because of the type of window we have. I've never had the exhaust hose detach from either the unit or the window, and I can only assume the reported problem of it happening at the slightest bump or jostle is a result of user error or a unique issue with the unit in question. This type of air conditioner works best in specific applications, and I would recommend that anyone considering purchasing one of these units do a bit of research to ensure it meets your needs. If you determine that it is, I couldn't recommend this unit more highly. We've been using it for three years, in two separate homes, without any trouble or concern.

Bought a USED one of these. She didn't have the oblong exhaust end of exhaust hose, nor did it come with the window fittings. That being said, we paid $230.00 U.S. for the unit. Good price??? In the HEAT/HUMIDITY OF THE SUMMER beggars can't be choosy. Making the window fitting was easy, THANK YOU DAD. He had the exact length of piece of wood for the window. All in all, not bad. Better than nothing πβ. Overall NOT BAD!!! Keeps the wifey HAPPY π.
