Knitter's Pride View Sizer, Purple

Depending on your crochet hook, sometimes the head of the hook is larger than the shaft, so it's hard to determine the exact size of a hook (especially those whose numbers have faded off from use). Most needle / hook gauges just are holes in plastic or metal, which is fine for knitting needles, but terrible for crochet hooks. I have a bunch of different crochet hook sets, and some don't have any sizes indicated on it, and some just have the sizes stamped on it and have rubbed off over time. This is my favorite type of gauge because you just slide the shaft of the hook into the appropriate slot to figure out what size you're using. I've bought several of these for different bags. They are sturdy, cute as a button, and work really well. I love the little extras, such as a gauge ruler and the little cutter under the trunk.
