Amazing stuff!
By kim anderson on Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2021
I used this garden-wide during the early summer months and my god! 110% recommend! Plants just love this stuff. This year, I grew the single biggest eggplants I've EVER seen! 2 1/2, 3 feet long and delicious! My Ghost pepper plant is more of a bush, with at LEAST 100 peppers still on it, after harvesting at least 40 already. My corn patch loved this stuff as well! Amazing ears, even in the small patch I had. (Next year, I'm tripling it, minimum.) I love peppers, and growing peppers. They're my "Thing" so to speak. Jalapenos, banana peppers, tabasco, green, red, and yellow bells, but also tomatoes and cabbage, everything! I put even it in my wildflower bed and the poppies just exploded! They thrived best on it and took over, I had to cull them back it worked so well. it was beautiful. This stuff is nitrogen heavy, so be careful and test the soil often, great for corn or melons. As I understand it, it does work well with very specific "herbal flowers" as well in their early/vegetation stage, avoid during flower/late stage growth. You don't need a lot. Grab a handful, or use a spreader and shake a few handfuls' in. Do this every two weeks or so. Directions are clearly printed on the back and I can't remember exactly what it said. The only downside was the smell. It isn't good and I wont sugar coat it. It smells of unpleasant fish but it's not "offend the neighbors" bad either. You CAN smell it just walking around the garden after it's been applied. But manure smells much worse, so if you've ever spread that, you can handle this. It's more unpleasant than bad, really. I spread it by bare hand. The first time I defiantly avoided smelling it, by the time I was done adding it to the whole garden, I couldn't even smell it anymore . Wash your hands after or wear gloves and you're good. I describe the smell as "The way the zoo smells + Fish." So I rate 5/5, will use again for sure. It does smell, but it's not bad and it's worth every penny!

Don't use this for shrimping/baiting
By Adam Davis on Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2020
I was having a hard time finding any info as to whether this sort of fish meal would work when making bait balls for shrimping. I've tried to use it a few times, but I haven't seen a single shrimp in the traps. Granted, you could argue that I don't know where to put the traps. Or how to properly bait them. But I'm starting to think that this product should not be used for that purpose.
