Good sturdy CPU holder, needs some help or experience for install
By Vinay Sherkar on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2021
This is a great and sturdy CPU holder. Pros- Moves 360, so you can easily remove the cables by not getting too deep under the table. Great quality and good heavy metal material. Has good instruction manuals if you understand. Cons- Cannot do it alone as its a bit heavy, my table has hardwood so with me holding the stand and installing screws was tough. I had to make markings and then hit the screws down from below the table. Make sure you use the additional washer/bolts with the screws because if you don't the screws will drop. I did that mistake and ended up drilling holes at a different location. Another mistake I did is i put the holes at the very edge because I needed leg room and don't like the CPU hitting my long legs. So i have locked its movement because of the side bar(see pic), but I don't really care about the 360 move as I setup my cables well and once in a while add some extra/additional USB mice. If you don't need the 360 degree move don't worry about where you are locating the holes to drill.. Overall, I'm not a carpenter or a pro and wooden installs so for me this was moderately tough. So take the required precautions and help while installing and don't hurt yourself when doing it. If you have the required experience or at least plan it well, its a easy... Well and its made in China... If you don't like it don't buy it, i didn't have a good option or I would buy a made in anywhere else in the world.

A few months in...
By Chris Marx on Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2025
It's holding after about 6 months of use, so that's worth a few points. Still I gotta deduct some score for some vital issues that are going to get me to throw this out sooner than I'd like: - The main swivel bolt has loosened. This means the whole computer wiggles to one side in a slightly worrisome way. So far it's holding ok though. - The width support should have been wider. My case isn't as wide as some popular cases on the market, yet the width at up top is maxed. And when it's maxed, there is less support. So my computer sits at an odd angle that I don't like. It's secure, but the wiggle within the mount is going to apply more pressure on the top bolt over time until it eventually fails. Making one piece of metal longer is all they needed to do. - Why are the main bolts up top plastic coated? I need to dial those in to lock the mount in place, yet my fingers can't fit in the narrow space, and my screwdriver is already chewing up the soft plastic. And you made this a flat-head screw while another point uses Phillips, another is a metal thumb screw, and yet a fourth adjustment point uses hex! Soft plastic has no place here! - Back to this hex bolt. Why the lone hex bolt? I have to dig for this bit every time I want to take the mount apart to service my computer or check that main support bolt. It's fine if everything was hex, I know they are better. Just be consistent! - Not enough padding. My computer has flattened the bottom support pads and the single pad of the width support on the top/side is insufficient, especially since it is at an angle (due to using the widest screw hole)
