Solid phone.
By Juan A Ortiz on Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2018
I have been using this phone for about a week and i must say it is an impressive hardware. Without a doubt one of the best phones i have ever owned that delivers its promise of high quality video and sound on the go. All apps run extremely smooth with no signs of stutter or lag at all. The phone itself feels really light but you definitely can notice it is build to last. Great quality when you hold it and the frame as well; pretty much everything you can touch feels durable and definitely solid. The only thing that i notice is that it won't allow me to make software updates without connecting to Wi-Fi. Not sure why that is set up this way but i was unable to find a way to download its software updates with a cellular network. But it doesn't give me any trouble downloading anything else. Needless to say, i recommend this phone greatly. As for those who enjoy games like me it pretty much plays everything the mobile game market has to offer and can even support gaming alongside streaming flawlessly. No lag or issues. The only thing that could go bad is if you have bad network connection. Kudos to LG for building an incredible phone that serves as a noteworthy competitor among the other popular mobile titans out there. They really stepped up this time and i hope they continue improving.

Warning - don't buy if you use Sprint! Unable to be used.
By Tom Sommers on Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2018
Purchased this to replace my current Sprint phone. I only would purchase from the manufacturer to make sure there were no problems. The current Amazon listing says "Unlocked for freedom to choose your carrier. Compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, and U.S. Cellular Networks.". Unfortunately when I tried to activate it online with Sprint, the tech (via chat) said based on the MEID (?) number that it was ineligible for activation. Thinking this must be an error, I went to the Sprint store who confirmed they couldn't activate it. I contacted Amazon who contacted LG directly on my behalf and put us in a three way phone call. LG rep asked some questions and did some digging, but said the phone was compatible with Sprint but they can't make Sprint activate it. While I understand that, it certainly should NOT be listed as being compatible with Sprint if it's unable to be activated on Sprint. That's like selling someone a car that can take US blend gasoline but can't be registered in any State.
