Just like a brand new MacBook

Not sure why all the bad reviews. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. It came in a plain white box (not Apple packaging) but the inside still had the new plastic around the computer. We started it up and everything worked great.

Faulty Apple products, would avoid purchase

I would avoid buying from this amazon company. I purchased this laptop during a Black Friday sale for ~$1k in 2017. I hardly used the computer until last year when it started to have difficulty staying in and would randomly restart. This Friday it stopped turning on and I took it to a Apple certified store and told me the motherboard is shot and would take $800 to replace. Save your money and spend it somewhere else.
