Small, quiet and very powerful
By Mama Nature on Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2018
We have a very open ceilinged floor plan and turning on central heat takes such a long time to warm any area. After work we congregate in the family room/kitchen for dinner, TV and reading until bed. We close off this room with our sliding doors and run this little powerful heater in a fairly large room. It warms the area thoroughly and quickly and for extremely cold nights we’ll put this at the opposite side of room from the lit fireplace. At bedtime we run as fast as we can to beds prewarmed with electric blankets and turn on the heater again come morning coffee time. This has honestly saved us a fortune on winter heating costs. More funds left for the electric bill to run Xmas lights all December.

Terrible thermostat, died after a year
By J. Guy on Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2019
Died on me after 1 year of use, but was looking to replace it anyway. The fan makes terrible noises and stalls out. Used to be pretty quiet though when it worked. So I guess that's a plus. The real killer, besides the crappy fan of course, is that the thermostat is hilariously bad. Sometimes the room will be freezing and you'll have to crank it way up (well this is relative, keep reading) to get it to turn on. Other times you wake up in the middle of night in a pool of sweat and the thing is blasting despite being on the same position that was freezing cold the day before. Also 90% of the dial is useless anyway. Anything above ~10% is basically "always on". So the first 10% is a crapshoot, and the other 90% is "on".
