Can't beat the value.

I'm not an audiophile so I'm no expert, but I do love music and movies and this sub is great for my home theater. It provides just enough low end to round out the sound without pissing off the neighbors. I paired with ELAC's Debut B6 bookshelf speakers and they can handle a lot of volume. When cranked up they put out a great sound and are more than loud enough for a medium sized room. The bass is not window rattling so if that's what you want, this isn't the sub for you. But turned up, you can really feel it. Very simple to use and tune to your preference and the 8" woofer provides really tight bass in a pretty compact package. For the money, you really can't beat it.

Such a downer from such a well regarded brand. Total waste of money. as another already said, all boom and farts. I have two other budget subs in the house to compare to.
