Honey-Can-Do Bamboo Shower Caddy

I like the natural wood look. It stays in place and holds everything I need. The suction cup adjusts to fit my tile and stays in place. Works great with my showe head and hand held sprayer.

This is definitely a reproduction of the original one we purchase by Umbra years ago. It held up well but finally succumbed to age, mold, and glue failure. We purchased this since it looks just like it. There are notable differences including the lack of rounded edges on the surface, less elegantly bent metal, but for the most part it looks as sturdy as the Umbra. Time will tell.

Definitely made quality materials and well constructed. I’m all for sustainablity but I also want my personal items look nice. Aside from the very bottom shelf being slightly off, I’ve liked it so far. There’s only one suction cup so mine wabbled a lot until I detached it (cool feature, by the way). I would recommend.

Great looking&holds many things! It was a bit hard for me to get screws tight….a man’s strength would help!

I really like how bamboo hold up and this caddy is beautiful. I am not a fan of plastic but I do like the suction cup that keeps the whole thing anchored so nothing falls out. And it holds everything I could possibly need or want while showering.

I love the appearance of this shower caddy. The suction cup placement is a joke, it wobbles EVERYTIME you use any product from the caddy. Also, there’s no protective sealer on it. I bleach it every week!!! Mold under the shampoo bottles, and where the loofah hangs from the peg!!!! Just ridiculous. I wanted to love it!!! Now it’s too late to return. Ugh!!!

Got this once and absolutely LOVED it. Had it for years, sadly left it when we moved. Ordered another in our new home. Came with the second shelf at a slight angle. Thought I could deal with it, but actually, ended up EXTREMELY annoying as everything slid forward and often fell off. Also, within 3 weeks, a small spot of mold appeared on the bottom shelf. Over the next few weeks, despite frequent cleaning, scrubbing and bleaching...it spread to most of the center of the bottom shelf. Odd thing, it seems to be under the finish because it won't 'scrub off' or bleach. Sadly, after just a few months this found its way to the garbage. I'm not sure of I got a dud or if the quality changed. It appeared to be the same as the first, its quite sturdy and solidly built...but my first lasted years without issue or mold and we left it in great condition, this one came crooked and molded in 3 weeks...bummer. I would give 3.5 stars if I could, but, does not deserve 4. My concern is that the water of my first place was salty well water in a desert climate where we didn't have mold issues. So, I'm wondering if our experience would have been more like the second had we lived where we do now....? I will say, its sturdy, large enough to hold lots of stuff (if the shelves are level), has excellent hooks for scrubbers, nooks for razors and large holes to put your almost empty bottles securely upside-down...so well designed really. I really really loved my first one.

Really enjoy the aesthetic and multi-slots. Sturdiness tends to wane. Overall a good product.

It looks very good and works well. Only thing is, unless ours is faulty, in which case I’d love to return it and get a good one, the shelves are just a bit at a slant forward. This makes it not always easy for bottles and jars to stand without falling. The first one we got had the shelves broken and totally leaning forward. So I’m assuming what we have now is how it’s supposed to be. If not, hope the manufacturer contacts me for an exchange and I’ll be happy to change the review to 5 star.

I was honestly excited to get this Bamboo shower caddy. Sadly, it doesn't love up to its hype. First, the caddy only has one suction cup, not two (as advertised). As a result, the caddy isn't sturdy because it constantly moves. This makes storing bottles on it rather difficult unless you lay them down. The drilled holes in the bamboo would seem like a great idea, except that if your bottles aren't entirely full -- they won't dispense shampoo or conditioner. And after a few months, it's already experiencing discoloration to the wood. Overall, I'd totally buy a bamboo shower caddy again -- just not this one. It's not worth the money, the frustration nor time it'll take to secure it with a second suction cup.
